I’ve worked with the La Vie en Rose CRM team for almost a year. It was very much important for me to understand digital design and the e-commerce world such as wireframes, CTA buttons, coding, menus, web fonts, etc.
During this time, I reformulated the top and bottom menus for La Vie en Rose newsletters working directly with BDG (Benjamin David Group) team. We based our wireframes on the user research and sketched up some ideas together. You can see some of the final results on the images above.
The main challenge working on newsletters is to always catch the client's attention in the middle of thousand emails one can receive per day. For this, I worked close to the La Vie en Rose’s CRM team to develop a clear, simple and direct wording and design. A straight communication that would deliver the brand's message fast and visually attractive.
Working in this field made me develop some strategies in organizing and timing. Wording, information, images and inspirations had always to be extremely organized in a team workflow effort that would make it easier for everybody to create 3 or, sometimes, 5 different newsletters per week. Also, I would create many pre-approved wireframes and boxes (as we call newsletters sections) in advance, which you can check out above. This helped me produce diverse visuals mixing up various premade sections for rush times like Black Friday or Holidays.
